Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Characters You Wish Would Get Their Own Book

It's that time of week again when I link up with The Broke and the Bookish for Top Ten Tuesday. This weeks theme is Top Ten Characters You Wish Would Get Their Own Book. I've only got a few for this topic. So here we go,

Pretty much every character in Anna and the French Kiss. I loved all the secondary characters - I felt as though they were one of the main characters. I wanted to know what they were doing during Anna and the French Kiss as well as what happened to them afterwards (ok, so we kinda found this out in Isla and the Happily Ever After) but I want MORE. I want a whole book from each character (and then another one from Anna's perspective would be nice too)

Hanna from the Delirium Series. So, we kinda got a joint POV in the last book but I wouldn't mind having a book completely from her perspective about how she changed after the operation. I think that would be quite interesting

I actually wouldn't mind a story from Prince Maxon's perspective. I would like to know what was going through his head when he had to choose which girl to choose and how he came to his decision.

Sorry guys, that's all I have for you. I don't really know what other character I would like  their own book. I'll probably remember some when I look through others Top Ten Tuesday's. Anyway, let me know yours

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I Want To Reread

Today, I'm linking up with The Broke and the Bookish for their weekly feature Top Ten Tuesday. I haven't done one of these for a while, so it's nice to be getting back into it. Today's topic is Top Ten Books I Want To Reread. As I am not a frequent re-reader (as I often don't enjoy the book as much as the first time. I think it's because I know what is going to happen) I am going to do my Top Ten Books I Want To Reread in an ideal world (the ideal world being a world where I enjoy rereading).

All these books had some effect on me. Whether they got me into reading (divergent), out of a reading slump (Anna and the French Kiss), took me on a rollercoaster of feelings (Obsidian, Vampire Academy), made me cry (TFiOS, If I Stay, Where She Went), amazed me with its awesome conclusion (Clockwork Princess), got me to think (We Were Liars) or simply because I connected with it (Looking for Alibrandi), I would love to reread these books and experience those feelings again.

Are some of your books the same as mine? Let me know below

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table

HIII, (can you tell I'm excited?)
Want to know why I'm excited? This weeks Top Ten Tuesday meme, run by The Broke and the Bookish, is Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table, which basically means list all my fictional boyfriends.

So, lets go through who of my fictional boyfriends I mean fictional characters I would choose to sit at my lunch table.

First up is... (drum roll please)

FOUR - (Divergent)
That's right. Four (aka Tobias) will be sitting at my table. I mean, who doesn't like Four? I'm sure he will protect me from all those bullies in the school

Etienne St Clair - (Anna and the French Kiss)
How can I not choose him? He's so sweet and adorable and man, I just can't think properly right now. He is just so perfect. I can't process how perfect he is right now (fangirling moment)

Adam - (If I Stay)
Adam is just the perfect boyfriend. I'm sure he will always stick by me and he can play me his guitar and sing to me. He could write a song about me

Will Herondale - (The Infernal Devices)
Will. Will. How much I love you.

Peeta - (Hunger Games)
The most sweetest guy ever. And he can bake.

Daemon Black - (Lux Series)
He can entertain us all with his sarcastic comments.

Augustus - (TFiOS)
I'm sure he can teach us a thing or two

Well, since I should pick some girls to sit at my table (although I'm sure the 7 guys would give me more than enough company) they would be...

Anna - (Anna and the French Kiss)
She is just so nice and caring and patient

Katy - (Lux Series)
Cue the fangirling over fictional characters

Rose - (Vampire Academy)
Her badassness. And her sense of humor. She could entertain my for days

That was very fun to list. I'm always ready to list all my favourite fictional boyfriends characters.  Are yours the same as mine? Let me know below

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books People Have Been Telling You That You MUST Read

Hi Everyone,
Today I'm linking up with The Broke and the Bookish for their Top Ten Tuesday. This weeks theme is Top Ten Books People Have Been Telling You That You MUST Read. The two books that I've been told to read the most is The Lux Series and Anna and the French Kiss, but I have just finished reading them both. So, I've had to think about what were the other books that I've been told I must read. So, I've come up with 6 that I've been told to read the most. I do hope to get around to them soon

Top Ten Tuesday: To Read Or Not To Read?

It's that time of the week again where I link up with The Broke and the Bookish for their Top Ten Tuesday feature. And this weeks theme is Top Ten Books I'm Not Sure I Want To Read. I have a lot of books on this list. It's a hard decision for me. Do I spend time reading a book with the chance that I won't like it? Or do I got for it and read it? First World Problems right there!

First up on this list is....
I've heard so many mixed reviews. Some liked it, some didn't. Some didn't like it till the very end. I don't know what to do. And the movie is coming out next month (at least I think it's next month). I don't particularly enjoy reading books after I've watched the movie so I feel as though I have to make my decision quite soon. At the moment I'm leaning towards not reading it and my brother read it not too long ago and he said it wasn't the best book ever (but then again, he doesn't read too many books). I will definitely watch the movie though

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Books I'd Give To Readers Who Have Never Read Young Adult

Today, I'm linking up with Broke and Bookish for their Top Ten Tuesday feature with this weeks theme being Top Ten Books I'd Give To Readers Who Have Never Read Young Adult. In no particular order:

If I Stay - Gayle Forman
For its moving tale about how you should be grateful for all you have because it can be taken away from you in an instant

Divergent - Veronica Roth
This is the book that got me into reading so it'll always have a special place in my heart

The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
For showing that YA is not just heavily focused on romances

The Fault in Our Stars - John Green
To show them to live life to the full

We Were Liars - E. Lockhart
For something different. This is not your typical YA novel

Just One Day - Gayle Forman
A story on self discovery and growth

Harry Potter - J.K Rowling
Well, I consider it a 'classic'

Briar Rose - Jane Yolen
Her ability to mix sleeping beauty with the Holocaust in a delicate way

City of Bones - Cassandra Clare
So I can sit there and watch them go through the pain I went through because of the Jace/Clary sibling situation

Delirium - Lauren Oliver
It has amazing quotes on love

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Characters I Would Want With Me On A Deserted Island

Today, I'm linking up with Broke and Bookish for their weekly meme 'Top Ten Tuesday' with this weeks topic being Top Ten Characters I Would Want With Me On A Deserted Island. This means, I get to list all my favourite fictional male characters and let them compete for my heart. Just kidding. Anyways, here is my response in no particular order

Four - Divergent Trilogy
How could Four not make it on this list? He would definitely protect me from anyone who tries to hurt me and I think, he would risk his life for me. Cause after all, he's Dauntless and it's their duty protect

Peeta - Hunger Games Trilogy
Even though he may not be the best person in the world to protect me from all the potential harmful things that may be present on an island, he does know how to make bread which could come in handy. Sure, we may not have any electricity or anything to make it, but I'm sure Four would help us make a fire so that Peeta can cook. And he's also skilled in art so, when its gets boring he can teach me some interesting art stuff

Augustus Waters - The Fault in Our Stars
Augustus would make a great companion on an island cause he knows how to make things enjoyable. He can turn being on an island out in the middle of nowhere to this awesome time cause he is the life of the party

Katniss Everdeen - Hunger Games Trilogy
Let's face it. She would be a great choice. All her Hunger Games training and experience would come into play on the island. She could help us find food as well as give us some helpful advice on how to survive

Will Herondale - The Infernal Devices Trilogy
Will, my Will. He would be able to fight all the demons that come to attack us on our island. Even if there happens to be no one, I'm sure he knows a thing or two about surviving on an island. If not, he would be great company as he loves books as much as I do

Adam - If I Stay
Ok, so he may not really know how to survive on an island but he does know how to play his guitar. He could entertain us all by playing his guitar and playing a show for us. That would be fun
Annabeth Chase - Percy Jackson Series
Since I think I should have a few more girls on my list, I think Annabeth would be a great choice. She ran away from home when she was younger so she would know a thing or two about where to get food, how to entertain themselves (even if she was sort of running away from monsters). But I also think she would be a great girl to hang out with. She's friendly and caring and would look out for me if necessary

Hermione Granger - Harry Potter Series
Hermione is book smart, meaning that she would know how to survive on an island and shes done it before (when she was with Harry in The Deathly Hallows)

Rose Hathaway - Vampire Academy Series
Let's face it. Rose knows how to kick-ass. Shes funny, unpredictable and fun to be around. She knows how to party but also knows how to fight. So, I guess if anyone tried to attack me on my island, it'll be alright. Cause Rose is here

Tessa - Infernal Devices Series
How could I go to a desert island without a book buddy? I'm sure she would love to fangirl with me about fictional characters and even recommend me some books to read

Well, I had way to much fun with that. Let me know what your choices were below.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Favourite Movies

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and Bookish and this weeks meme is Top 10 Favourite Movies. I am a big movie lover, so I've been kinda excited to put this list together. But it's actually been quite challenging. There are so many other movies that I could put on it but I had to settle for these (otherwise, I'll be here all day).  I should also point out that I am a real sucker for romance movies. Honestly, I love watching them and wishing that I had a boyfriend as awesome as those fictional boyfriends are. I'm actually surprised I don't have more romance movies than I do on this list. Honestly, if this list was a Top 20, it'll probably be predominately romance books. I've tried to put them into a list from 1 -10 but every time I look at it, it keeps changing. But I've finally decided on this.

 10. The Lego Movie

 9. Silver Linings Playbook

 8. 21 Jump Street

 7. Frozen

 6. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

 5. The Spectacular Now

 4. The Notebook

 3. Something Borrowed

 2. Pitch Perfect

 1. The Fault in Our Stars

Top Ten Tuesday: Top 10 Blogging Confessions

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the Broke and the Bookish and this weeks theme is Top 10 Blogging Confessions. So here is mine

1. I'm a huge library person and for that reason I don't own a lot of books. A huge part of the reason is how expensive they can be in Australia. $20-$30 for a book? I don't think so. Therefore I only buy books if a) the library doesn't have it b) I find a book really cheap c) It's just been released and I can't wait till my library gets it cause I must read it ASAP

2. It actually doesn't bother me if book covers don't match or what edition of a book I get or if the sizing doesn't match the other ones. As long as there is the story I paid for inside the cover, I don't really care

3. You'll most likely find me reading on my bed, in the night. I usually go to 'bed' early and read for another hour or so. I don't usually read in the day unless I must find out what happens in the book ASAP or if I'm super bored and the internet is getting boring

4. I prefer soft cover books over hard cover. I think its because of the price. I'm not spending double the price of a soft cover for a hard cover (expect in the case of The Fault in Our Stars but that was because it had John Green's signature inside of it)

5. I only got into reading last year and that was because of Divergent. Ever since then, I haven't stopped reading. I'm always reading something

6. I don't eat and read. I've tried before but it just didn't work. I wasn't focusing on what I was reading, instead I was focusing on what I was eating. So, I had to basically re-read what I had just read. And I kept worrying that I will dirty my book. So yeah, now it's either eat or read. I have to pick one (and sometimes it does get hard)

7. I'm a big fangirl. Like big. I sometimes get told to stop and calm down. If there is a romantic relationship that is developing (actually, its mainly romantic relationships) or something I'm there fangirling. And then when the book becomes a movie. Gosh, I will most likely have seen the trailer within the first few hours its released (in the afternoon if its a school day) and have watched it over and over again. And then when the movies released, I will have seen it within the week (I know, you would think I would have seen it the day it comes out, but sometimes its hard to get to the cinemas)

8. I started my blog after watching YouTube (or BookTube) videos of people reviewing books and I wanted to be part of that atmosphere. So, as I'm still in school I thought it would be more time efficient to start a blog instead

9. My biggest pet hate is when people critise what others are reading. Like why should you care? You're not reading it. Let me enjoy my book without feeling as though I'm being judged just because it's classified as YA. It's only YA because the protagonist is a young adult. Get over it. I don't care what you choose to read

10. I once read 7 books and 2 novellas (so 9 books) in about a week and a half (Delirium Trilogy and the novellas Alex and Hanna, The Fault in Our Stars, The Hunger Games Trilogy). I know for some of you, that may not be a lot, but that was massive for me as I don't get to read a lot cause of school work. And it helped that I was on school holidays at the time

Well, that was fun. Are some of your confessions the same as mine? Let me know below.

Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten Classics I Want To Read

Hi Everyone,
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and today's Top Ten Tuesday is Top Ten Classics I Want To Read. However as I am not a big classics reader, I have decided to change it to Top Ten Books That I Think Will Become Classics. However, I do know that my friend over at A Corner In Time does enjoy to read classics so feel free to check her out.

Here is what I think they will be

I don't think it's no surprise here that Harry Potter will be likely to become a classic. The books are considered 'must reads' and the writing was so brilliant. Even the movies were spectacular.

The Hunger Games is such an amazing book. From the concept to the underlying message that accompanies it. This book, I think, will continue to be successful.

The hype that has surrounded this books is absolutely amazing. I don't think I've seen a more popular stand along book. I've noticed that it's not just girls who are reading it, yet guys have too. That, will no doubt, help it to become a classic

I know that this may be a controversial choice and that many people did not like the story nor writing style, however I do think that this book is not going anywhere anytime soon. The movies opened the door for book-to-movie adaptations and was a major success financially. Basically, it got to a point that you knew at least one person who had read the novels at some point. And for that reason, I believe that the novel 'Twilight' will popular in many years to come. If it doesn't make it as a 'classic', then it will definitely be a popular older book

I actually am not sure what else what I think would become a 'classic' in the future. Let me know in the comments below any other books you think may become one
