Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Monica and I love to read. I mostly read YA literature and love to fangirl over the fictional characters that I read about (or watch in movies and TV shows).
How did I get into reading? Well, I always enjoyed reading but my love for it grew in the middle of 2013 when a friend recommended to me that I
read Divergent by Veronica Roth. Reluctantly, I read it and it was the
best decision I have made. The book made me realise my love for reading
and I have not looked back.
I then spent a lot of time watching
book reviews on YouTube (which I still do) and reading reviews on blogs
like this one. It made me want to have a platform where I can review the
books that I have read, so I started this blog.
I mainly post YA book reviews but you may see the odd Adult book review too. I am not picky over which genre I read - if I
like the sound of it, I will read it. However, I do tend to pick up and
read Young Adult books the most. I also plan to review book-to-movie
adaptations since a lot of my favourite novels have been turned into
movies recently.
